The Conception of Buddhist Nirvana is written by Theodore Stcherbatsky. The present book delivers a remarkable presentation of the Madhyamaka Dialectic by providing an English translation of Nagarjuna's chapters on Causality and Nirvana, as well as Candrakirti's full commentary on the Sanskrit Text.
Theodore Stcherbatsky was a Russian Indologist who was largely important for setting the groundwork for the scientific article of Buddhistm and Buddhist theory in the Western world. The first volume of Stcherbatsky's Theory of Knowledge and Logic of Later Buddhist Doctrine[3] was published (in Russian) ( 2 vols., St. Petersburg, 1903-1909 ).
