The Bhikkhuni Patimokkha of the Six Schools is written by Chatsumarn Kabilsingh Ph.D. Dr. Chatsumarn Kabilsingh has translated the Buddhist nuns' monastic norms, known as the Patimokkha of the Six Schools, to aid our understanding and comparison of Theravada, Mahasanghika, Mahisasaka, Sarvastivada, Dhamagupta, and Mula-Sarvastivada. The study of the patimokkha also elucidates the historical environment in which the regulations were established. This translation will also be useful to Buddhist scholars who are worried about the situation.
