Anguttara Nikaya is translated by Nyanaponika Thera and revised by Bhikkhu Bodhi. An abridged translation of the Pali canon's five-volume Buddhist sutra. The original translation was done by Nyanaponika Thera, then Bhikkhu Bodhi updated and introduced these 208 selected lectures. In the Anguttara Nikaya, Bhikkhu Bodhi gives a methodical introduction to the Buddha's teaching. Notes, a glossary, and another introduction place the Anguttara in the perspective of the greater Theravada Buddhist Canon are also included by the translators. Both scholars of Theravada Buddhism and anybody interested in learning from the Buddha's teachings would appreciate this readable yet precise translation.
