Facing the Future is written by Bhikkhu Bodhi. Bhikkhu Bodhi is a Theravada Buddhist monk from the United States who was ordained in Sri Lanka and now teaches in the New York and New Jersey areas. He was named the Buddhist Publication Society's second president, and he has edited and produced various books in the Theravada Buddhist tradition.
