Elementary Pali Course is written by Ven. Narada, Thera. The late Venerable Narada Thera, a prominent Buddhist scholar of the Vjirarama Vihara in Colombo, Sri Lanka, wrote this Elementary Pali Course, which is the standard work for learning Pali at the elementary level. Pali was the Buddha's native language which he used to explain his teachings. It is also the scriptural language of the Theravada Buddhist school.
