Aspects of Early Buddhist Thought is written by Ven. Pategama Gnanarama Ph.D. Since 1993, Ven. Dr.P.Gnanarama has served as Ti-Sarana Buddhist Association's resident monk and Chief Religious Advisor. He is a well-known Buddhist scholar in academia, with numerous publications in both English and Sinhala.
He possesses two post-graduate degrees from Sri Jayawardhanapura University in Sri Lanka and the University of Magadh in India. He is a graduate of the University of Ceylon and the University of London.
He has garnered expertise and distinction as a member of educational institutions in Sri Lanka and abroad, ranging from high schools to universities. In addition to being the incumbent Chief Priest of Purvaramaya, Gunasingha Pura in Sri Lanka, Ven. Dr.P.Gnanarama is also the Principal of the Buddhist and Pali College in Singapore.
